Bottomless Bonus from Vegas Palms

a little blogging from the misses (Mrs. that is) . . .

This morning I launched a mission to take advantage of a bonus from Vegas Palms Casino. They are offering a “bottomless bonus”. An experienced online gambler, I am not! Still, I’m a reasonably intelligent girl. I have a marketing background, I love to shop, I can find my way around my browser and accomplish tasks online. It caused me some distress that it took me quite a bit of time to figure out the bonus, what it means and how I can use it.

Here’s what I did. I went to Vegas Palms and found a giant advertisement for their Bottomless Bonus, where I could top up for Free. There’s a bright red coffee mug and some animation that fills in the screen. The ad says I can win $200. I “click here for more information” and learn that the bonus amounts to 100% of whatever real money I decide to deposit. So, I’d need to deposit $100 to win that $200. My budget for this experiment is $50, so my possible winnings can be $100.

From that info page, I click on the download link, and it takes just under 5 minutes to have the software installed and be registered as a real player with a log in name and password. Now it’s time to make a deposit and I haven’t seen or heard anything more about the Bottomless Bonus for a while, so I begin to wonder if I went astray somewhere. I go back to the Vegas palms home page and look up the promotion. There is a promo code there that I figure I’ll need when I deposit, but alas, there is no place to enter that code. So, I file that code away for later… I imagine I’ll need it when I cash out.

Well, befuddled, I take a deep breath and make my $50 deposit. Piece of cake. It takes just a moment and I’m presented with a big window full of Bottomless Bonus graphics. Phew.
Those graphics turn into a short tutorial about the bonus and how it works. Guess what? I’m going to be playing slots for five days… for FREE!

Here’s the deal. The Bottomless Bonus feature is accessed through a separate interface from the Vegas Palms Casino. My original $50 real money is displayed outside that box. Inside the bonus box, there is a $$ counter that holds my bonus money. It’s bottomless because I can top it off back to $50 over and over, as many times as I’d like for the next five days. When and if I play up to $100 in that counter, I can cash out of the free play and have that money added in to my real money total. It remains to be seen how much I could actually walk away with, and what restrictions there are for cashing out to real money away from the casino. Time will tell.

For now, I’m going to noodle around and play some slots. I’ll let you know how that goes. The games are Microgaming games and are all Flash versions. So far, I can tell that the chipmunk who runs around on a wheel inside my PC is not too happy with this whole venture. It makes his little head hurt and really slows him down.
